Perfectionism crushes
Perfect Love liberates

Perfectionism says I’ll only go as far as my fear.
Perfect Love says I’ll go as far as the prince of peace leads.
Perfectionism asks, what do I have to do?
Perfect Love asks, do you not see what I’ve done for you?

Perfectionism shuts down.
Perfect Love opens you up.
Perfectionism says it’s all in my hands.
Perfect Love says it’s ultimately in God’s hands.
Perfectionism says trust and faith are too big of a burden to bear.
Perfect Love says controlling others and bitterness are too much to bear.
Perfectionism is weakness parading as strength.
Perfect Love is strength that risks looking weak.

Perfectionism mocks the cross.
Perfect Love picks it up.
